Built around Makita’s 18V LXT platform, this cordless outdoor kit pairs a versatile couple shaft power head and string trimmer attachment with a compact top-handle chain saw for pruning, trimming, and limbing. The brushless couple shaft power head delivers up to 7,000 RPM with a 13 in. cutting swath, plus a lever-style lock system for fast, tool-less attachment changes. The 12 in. top-handle chain saw features a direct-drive outer rotor brushless motor with torque boost mode, captured bar nut and lateral chain tensioning, and adjustable automatic chain lubrication. Both tools feature Makita technologies designed for jobsite durability and battery protection, while eliminating gas, emissions, and pull starts.
